Some of my closest friends call me Finn. I have a calm and playful personality. I'm very affectionate and loving, once I get to know you, but a bit cautious until we're friends. You see, I wasn't treated that well in my previous life, and I'm still somewhat careful until I feel comfortable with my surroundings. I was picked up as a stray and nobody ever came to get me. How sad you may say, but I think that perhaps it was meant to be because I love it here in my foster home with my canine foster brothers and sister. I especially love to play with my foster brother Max for hours on end. I get along with all the other dogs, and with all the people I meet. I'm a little shy at first, but then, I explained that earlier. My foster mom says I'm really, really smart. She thinks I may have been training as a “working dog” or hunting companion. I heel, and know the basic commands. I'm housetrained, walk well on a lead, and like to go for rides in the car. I'm fit and healthy, and love to run and play. She also says that I'm really handsome and have a truly gentle soul, but I have too much pride to comment on that one. Because I'm still a little timid, I sometimes get scared when I'm left alone for long periods of time. Truthfully, I'd really prefer to find a Forever Family where I could have another dog to play with. Though I love playing with my canine friends, I'll admit that I'm a true snuggler.
