She is a sweet, gentle, sensitive and loyal companion who deserves a family who can spend a great deal of time loving her. She easily and heavily bonds to her owner. Bailey would do best in a fairly calm and quiet household with no young children. As her hearing is slightly impaired, she can startle easily on occasion. She prefers not to be left alone for long periods of time, so a stay-at-home mom/dad would be great. By far, Bailey's favorite pasttime is chasing birds and squirrels which she could do for hours on end. She would really enjoy the freedom of a doggie door, as well. Bailey has very nice house manners and is quite well-behaved. However, she prefers not to be crated because at one time in her life, she often spent 12 hours a day confined. She gets along great with both dogs and cats, and may benefit from a canine buddy in her new home. Bailey has a couple of minor conditions that are easily treated with inexpensive daily medication.
