Our last photo of Clancy. Clancy was humainly released from his aging body at 6:00pm the same day this picture was taken. Clancy was 10years, 4 months and 25 days old. He came to live with us on May 11th, 1996 at 11 weeks old. This faithfull day changed our lives forever. Because we so loved Clancy when our Katie passed we went back to Clancy's breeder and got Jasmine. Clancy was the start and the corner stone to the building of our kennel. Clancy never had any major medical problems. He developed aurthritus in the rear around 7 years of age. At 9 years we saw very deminished activity and was treated with asprin on his worst days. He started also at 9 to get cists on his rear feet. At the time of his death we had been treating cists and badly damaged hock from a fall 2 months prior. The weekend before he fell 4 times and could not get back up with out our assisstance. We were devistated to see him in this condition and how he struggled to get up. We knew it was time to release his soul from his aging body. Now Clancy is running and playing with all the grace and ease he use to enjoy. We miss you terribly Sweet Sweet Clancy. Run like the wind.
