Age: 3 Years Gender: Neutered Male Color: Liver and White Weight: 38 lbs Variety: Bench, Show-Bred This beautiful boy was found running as a stray in North Carolina with a group of springers. Sadly, his owners did not come to claim him from the shelter and he was transferred to ESRA's care. Stanley has not been exposed to many normal dog experiences in his previous life, so he is busy learning new things. He is almost completely house trained, and lives comfortably with another dog. Stanley lacks self confidence, is timid in new situations, and is very submissive with people. He has a low prey drive and seems to be afraid of squirrels and squeaky toys. Stanley is a happy bouncing boy at home with his people and is improving on his skills on leash.He wasn't so sure he liked being groomed with scary clippers, but baths are OK. Stanley needs a family committed to being patient while he learns what it means to be a real dog.
