He was tearfully surrendered by his owners because they just couldn't give him the time or attention that he needed. Moka is energetic, but will also lay quietly at your feet. Moka knows Back to move away from the door, and Wait before getting out of the car. He goes on long hikes every day with his foster mom and two resident Springer brothers. His leash training is ongoing. He will walk quietly, but does still get distracted by all the wonderful scents outside. He is easily corrected back into place. He has no food issues, and loves to meet, greet, and play with other dogs. He's very, very good with kids. His first home had a four- year-old boy, and they interacted very well. He was very good with the neighbor boys who are in the 4th and 5th grade. He would be quieter as an only dog. Moka would be too much for an older, or more sedate, dog. He takes corrections from other dogs very well, he'll just go spread his sunshine on someone else. No hard feelings from him. A very happy, upbeat, young dog, Moka is very agile and light on his feet. He's built, and moves like, a fullback. No counter surfing, no garbage raiding, no begging. Moka is crate trained and housetrained, and does like his crate. Moka is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and neutered. He is a great boy, who will make a wonderful companion and family member.
