Age: 6 years Gender: Female Color: Black/White Weight: 41 lbs. Variety: Field-Bred I'm a 6 year old, black and white, little field-bred Springer. Some time in the past, I had puppies, but they're all on their own now, and I'm working on getting my ‘girlish figure' back. You're probably wondering how I ended up in Springer Rescue. Well, to tell you the truth, I'm kinda wondering too. One minute I'm in a home with my four-legged sister (who was a lot older than me) and my two-legged brother. The next thing I know, my brother goes away to something they called “college” and I'm brought to some place called “a shelter”. I didn't really care what they called it - all I know is that it wasn't HOME! It was smelly and noisy. A very unhappy place. Lots of people crying and lots of dogs and cats crying too. Then this nice lady came in and said, “Hi. You want to come with me?” I snuggled up to her, hoping she would understand me. “Come on”, she says, ”Let's get outta' here!” So off we went. I spent a few days in the hospital, getting shots and stuff (spayed), and now I'm in a home again. Not my Forever Home, I'm told, but it's nice all the same. I have a four-legged foster sister. She's blind, so I try to be real careful around her and we get along pretty good. Although I am shy at first, I'm really very friendly and never growl. I don't like loud noises and I don't mind hanging out in my crate. I'm mostly housetrained, except sometimes when I'm left alone. I walk nice on a leash and I'm working on 'Lay-down'.
