  • Sleeke, Glad you enjoyed the photo. It was taken was I was employed as a biological technician/ fisheries observer deployed on commercial fishing vessels in the western Atlantic Ocean. This pilot whale was incidentally captured and drowned during fishing operations. Part of my job was to collect biological samples and measurements and return them to scientists on shore for study. To be honest, I did grill a sample of the meat and while edible, it was not to my liking. Reefdude1
