As you can see, I am a very handsome young Springer. I am a very calm and gentle puppy, and don't get into things that I shouldn't. I am very good with the resident dogs, share their toys nicely, and show no aggression over toys or food. I like to play with them, but most of all I like to be around people and get cuddles. I am probably one of the best cuddlers ever! The past week my Foster Mom has been teaching me something she calls “manners”. I will sit for treats, and I am trying real hard to learn to Stay and not to jump on people, but it is soooo hard as I just love everyone, and want to be near them. I walk well on a leash, and I have also learned to stay in the yard when the gate is open and not to go exploring. Foster Mom: Curtis is one of the best puppies I have ever met. He does not chew, dig holes, or get into things he shouldn't. He is very calm and quiet for such a young dog, and likes nothing better than to be around people and get cuddled. Curtis came to ESRA from a family in the San Bernardino area who found him wandering the streets, so very little is known about his past. Curtis is very eager to please and is a quick learner. It is recommended that he be enrolled in a beginning obedience class since he has had very little training. Curtis loves people of all ages and would do best in an active family. He needs lots of exercise and would enjoy a family that hikes or takes long walks every day. Curtis would also enjoy having another non-aggressive dog to play with. Cutis is housetrained, up to date on his shots, is microchipped, has been neutered, and has tested negative for heartworm. He is a healthy, happy, wonderful boy, looking for a fun, loving, Forever Family to belong to.
