Congratulations! 9/29/06: My name is Bronte and I need a home that has another active, playful dog to play with and with a fenced in yard so we can romp around in the yard. I am an inside dog but I sure do enjoy my exploring the great outdoors. Camping, hiking and running through the fields would be my favorite activities. I am a happy, easy going, young (1 1/2 years) fellow who is easy to take care of and I am healthy, neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines and good to go to a forever home. I am house broken and know how to use the doggie door. I am afraid of people (strangers), sometimes, but I warm up to them if they approach me in a friendly manner. I am cat friendly, "kid safe", dog friendly (I am NOT an Alpha), and just an all round "I love life" kind of dog! Car rides are no problem. I don't need to be crated. My foster mom says that I could use some obedience classes to learn my basic commands and I like to chew rawhides, so you would need to have those for me. I am a lover and would love to share your bed and sofa with you. I am quiet and lay quietly near you if you are working on the computer, etc. Leash walking is fun and I can actually help you walk the other dog(s) too by pulling them along by the leash! My foster mom says that I am a big hit with everyone who sees me because of my sweet disposition and my beautiful markings. I am liked by all family members here, which is unusual, from what I understand! I know that I am not 100% pure Springer Spaniel but everyone agrees that I have the same friendly, sweet, family dog attributes that Springers have! I am just a great all round fellow who needs an active family to play with me and love me! Please ask about me!
