Congratulations to all and best wishes from ESRA. Carly is a beautiful, sweet girl. She is a Katrina refugee, but will never be lost again because now she has a chip. She is up to date with all her shots and has been groomed too! Just look at that beautiful silky springer coat and dignified pysique. Carly has a great personality too! She is eager to please her family, but will bark at strangers until you tell her it's OK. Once convinced the strangers are no threat, she quiets down and accepts them. She has good manners, responding to commands such as sit, lie down, stay, be nice (when taking treats), and NO (when needed.) She travels well and likes her crate, though it's not necessary for her quiet time. Carly has a Springer nose and a hunting instinct. She can come to full alert in a split second and she loves to chase critters. Despite her active prey instinct, she’s very tolerant with puppies that like to tousle and chew on her ears. Carly wins the hearts of all--children, adults, and canines alike. Carly is eager to find her forever home. An ideal one would include plenty of fenced yard, someone to play with her, and perhaps a small plastic pool to cool off in afterwards. She would do well with a brother or sister too. What’s not to love about Carly – she deserves the best.
