She was a stray at the Memphis Animal Shelter and was lucky enough to be moved to the adoption area. She was quiet, friendly and was the perfect candidate to take to an offsite adoption day, but the staff said NO BLACK DOGS or HEAVY COATS to offsite summer adoptions. So Grendal sat patiently in her cell. One day I asked a volunteer to please take Grendal out of the cage to take a walk outside. Grendal heels beautifully and does not pull on her leash. This gentle girl lays down when she gets petted and is totally submissive and appreciative. The volunteer and I were both in love. Grendal has one blue eye and one eye half blue and half brown. She has beautiful silver tipping along her back side, and some white on chest and feet. Grendal is mellow and gentle to the other dogs. She is about 1 year old and probably weighs 40 lbs.
