Age: 2 years Gender: Male Color: Black/White Weight: 41 lbs. Variety: Bench/Show-Bred One to two year old Governor came to us from the Quad Cities area. Despite having spent over two months in a shelter, he is a sweet, friendly little guy. He rode beautifully in the back seat of a truck along side two boys and another dog and curled up and went to sleep when left alone for a little while in the truck. We have no idea what his background was, but he certainly is a nice little fellow. Although he doesn't seem to know his basic commands, he didn't pull too terribly on the leash. At 41 lbs. He is medium sized for a Springer and with his glossy black and white coat and freckled nose, he's quite handsome. As any two year old will tell you, he's a fast learner and a sweetheart to boot. From what we've seen, he gets along with other dogs and with kids too. Not sure about cats. So if you're looking for a young, easy-going playmate, Governor's your guy.
