I feel like I'm in the prime of my life! I love to swim, chase tennis balls, and generally run around. My owners are moving to a place that I can't go to so they are looking for a new home for me. I am very sad that I can't come with them because I have lived with them my whole life. But I am hoping to find a new fur-ever home through ESRA. I am a big boy, tall and 76 lbs but I am full bred. I take pride in how handsome I am! I have had all my shots and I am very well trained, if I do say so myself. I even know how to open the back door by myself. Just for fun the other day, I let the neighbor puppy in and we both sat on the couch and watched TV. Boy was my owner surprised to see that! I do have a lump on my jaw. My owner took me to the vet and they put a big needle in there and drained it. The vet said its not infected or not a tumor so we should leave it alone - otherwise I might have a big scar on my face and you know how proud I am about my looks. Other than that I am as healthy as can be. I get along well with other dogs and love kids! I can hardly wait to find my new fur-ever home! UPDATE 2/1/06 - I just wanted to give everyone an update on handsome Blake. He had surgery in late December to have the lump on his jaw removed and he came through with flying colors! He is fully recovered and looking dapper as ever, he has even slimmed down to a svelte 68 lbs. Blake would really like to find his new forever family soon, could that be you?!
