Creative Challenge: Global Warming #2

My son was the last US Forest Service Fire Fighter to escape through the wall of flash flames that blew up through the valley by running beside his crew truck through fire that was all around them. The flames went hundreds of feet into the air at unbelievable speed through the dry and hot forest. My son said it sounded like he was next to a jumbo jet plane engine. He was a bit scorched but not badly injured, thank God. Other crews and 2 rescued campers trapped inside the flames had to take shelter under individual Forest Service fire tents, with one brave fire fighter hero sharing her tent with the two campers. Most were injured and four were killed under their tents. God bless them all. - This photo was taken the day the crews visited the location where the four firefighters died. The charred log and flowers mark the spot where one fire fighters body was laying after the fire passed through. Clearly, the crews are dealing with extremely difficult emotions. Blessings, Judy
