this is the only claw post that I could find that was long enough for my black siamese mix kitty...we have 9 cats and 4 are not declawed and this is saving our furniture...they now sell a seat that slips on the top of it...my kitties have just left me a request to get it pronto :) One of my sweethearts took apart a little loveseat of mine in an afternoon.Fortunately it is ready for the dumpster...I think I am going to put it in the basement for them...maybe if they have it to rip on the others won't seem so tempting.Worth a try.Your furr children are lovely.

Oscar & Lola are very good about using posts. Oscar loves to go to town on the ones that are built into their big cat tree. Monte, the kitty born with a silver spoon in his mouth, has destroyed our couch arms and his favorite living room chair. That's where he goes to town. I need to include a few more pictures in this album. Thanks for reminding me! Grrr.

Elva: Is that a scratching post? I could never get my cats to use one of those things: even when I tempted them with cat nip. In the past, they used to ruin my furniture, but now (thankfully) they only scratch my living room carpet. (Would love to have a tree in my living room near my wall-to-wall window!)
