I have what I call "premature gray" around my eyes, but I like to act like a puppy sometimes. I want to go for walks and rides in the car. I have super curly and soft hair. After my owner passed away, I was turned over to the shelter by his caretaker. They left me locked up for so long that I had a hard time to walk, so my new foster mom took me for short walks everyday to build up my muscles again. I even got a few sores on my elbows from laying down so much. I was very thin, and I have put on weight, but I could still stand to put on a few more pounds. I love to be brushed and petted. My vet said he thinks that I had my voice box removed because I have a hoarse-sounding bark. But when it's time to eat, I can still get your attention by standing by my food bowl and yapping at you. I do not counter surf or beg for food. I don't sleep on the bed, but I am sure if you showed me how, I could. I am hard of hearing, but I do hear when you clap your hands. I'll come running right away! I love kids and big people too. I am just a sweet, fun guy, looking for a sweet, fun home. My foster mom says I am an "easy-keeper". I would be great for an older person as I walk very well on a leash, and I am very good in the house.
