Album Info:

Age: 9 Years Gender: Spayed Female Color: Liver/White Weight: 45 lbs. Variety: Field Bred From Lacey's Foster Mom: Lacey was rescued from a Humane Society in WI. She had lived inside the home with her family for 7 years and then they moved her into a kennel in their garage. She was surrendered because she was too active. You may ask how active can a 9 year old Springer be? Well, I asked the same thing before fostering her. She is just like the Energizer Bunny when she has a ball or 2 balls in her mouth. She can fetch and fetch and fetch and more. She just loves her balls or rubber squeaky toys. She actually gets 2 balls in her mouth at a time and can catch one while holding the other. She is one talented Springer girl! She loves to run after the ball outside and comes right back to you to throw again. If she wanders a bit, she will come right back when you call "come". When you need a break, she will "kennel up" very well and be content to relax until it's time to play again. She is crated when home alone and at night. She is house trained and knows the command "come". She is too excited to sit (I think she is making up for those 2 years of being cooped up in a garage). She gets along fine with her Springer foster sister and is good with the neighbor girl who is in the 2nd Grade. When she does settle down, she will give you lots of kisses. She shows good signs of being a hunter, but we do not know if she ever hunted. She does not counter surf. Lacey is just waiting for someone with lots of energy who will give her some exercise and love. From Lacey: "I am a wonderful 9 year old Springer girl. Some think that is old, but I certainly don't. I just want someone who will play with me and not give me up or put me in the garage because I just like to play. Playing is ok, isn't it? I'm very pretty, I am told, and my foster mom thinks I am well behaved. If you are an active family, please give me a chance to be your forever Springer. Oh, yes, my tail never stops wagging, even when I am doing my business!" Contact: Marie Heinking
