Cosmo needs a calm and loving environment with caring adults. He has had a very rough start in life and we want to ensure that he will feel safe and loved. He is very easy to live with. He enjoys attention , wants to bond with you, and does so quickly. He is very devoted, prefers to be by your side and will follow you anywhere. He loves his walks and needs exercise daily. Cosmo is playful and likes to play fetch. He is housetrained and knows his commands such as Sit, Down, Stay, No, etc. , and is very obedient. He likes routine and is a quick study. He likes to sleep on his dog bed and will also cuddle with you. (He would love to sleep in bed with us!) We've left him inside with Casper, the resident Springer, while we're at work, and we've had no problems. That's one of the reasons why I think he would do well in a home with another dog. Cosmo does well with adults, but not children. We will not place him with any children, even teenagers, as he has had bad experience being teased. Some children scare him and some don't, and we want a household with adults only. Cosmo is currently living with another young male Springer and he really enjoys the company of a nice, playful dog. He would do well with a companion dog. No cats for Cosmo, please. When he first got to his foster home, he was anxious about being left alone. His perfect home would be where people were home a lot, but he has since adjusted to the routine.
