Cody recently lost his "mom" to cancer, and he is looking for a new home where he can continue his happy life. Cody is currently staying with his former owner's adult son, who reports that he is an overall happy, healthy, friendly boy. Cody is feeling a little anxious right now, because he definitely misses his mom. But he is being a good boy and is trying to adjust to new schedules and routines. Although he was accustomed to having his owner wih him all day, he has been staying inside alone in the daytime, and has not been destructive or noticibly upset. Cody is reportedly good with children and loves to play with other dogs. He is a little skittish when he first meets new people, but quickly warms up and then wants nothing but pets and scratches. He LOVES going for walks and would do well with an new owner who could give him lots of exercise. He has not been observed around cats. Cody sports a long lovely tail, and may have a small amount of another breed (only because he's got shorter ears), but his sweet face is pure Springer!
