Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, just north of Kanab Utah on the East side of Highway 89 is a unique place both physically and emotionaly for a lot of people. The work done here with many different animals is on a scale which is hard to describe. The "Sanctuary" encopasses 30,000 acres when you include the protected "buffer zone" around the main animal areas. It would take me far to long to describe what this place is like, but I would encourage anyone who loves animals to visit their website at "www.bestfriends.com" and look over the information available.
