Age: 1-2 Years Gender: Male Color:Black/White Weight: 35 lbs. Variety: Bench/Show-Bred Cody is a beautiful, young bench bred Springer with just gorgeous markings. Cody was picked up as a stray and he was in pretty bad shape when his foster mom picked him up. He had a terrible cut across his shoulder blades and a cut on his nose; both are healing quite nicely now. He also had a terrible cough, which is much better now, but he is quite thin and needs to gain some weight still. His coat was in really bad condition and he looked as if he had been quite neglected but as you can see is quite handsome after his grooming. He is a small little guy but we don't think he's done growing yet. Cody loves other dogs and shows no aggression at all and he gets along great with the resident cat also. He is not jealous of the other dogs and waits patiently for his turn for attention and love. He is very loving and does like to curl up on the couch with you. He was rather quiet in the beginning but now that he is feeling better his energy level is definitely increasing and he would benefit from an active family who can give him a lot of exercise. Cody has not been tested with young kids so we don't know how he would do with children, he does need strong leadership though. We believe that Cody has been an outdoor dog so his foster mom and dad are working on his house manners and housebreaking and he is doing well but will need continued work in this area. Cody is not very fond of being kenneled, it is difficult to get him in but he does quiet down once inside. Cody will be neutered and vaccinated on August 17th and ready to go to his new shortly after that. He will make some lucky family a very loving and devoted part of the family.
