He is very well-behaved and has a sweet Springer temperament. He is a very healthy dog and is completely housetrained. He has a calm demeanor but is physically active - and will dutifully stay right by your side. He likes to play ball, go on walks and he never jumps up on people. This little guy LOVES his Kong toy; it is his constant companion as you can see in his picture. Winston is also a huge snuggle-bunny. He loves to curl up on the couch with his foster mom for some serious power naps. Winston has a joy about him and a light in his eyes that express his gratefulness for being out of his past situation. Unfortunately, the back of his neck bears a wicked scar from his past where he was tied up and the tether dug into his tender skin. You can no longer see the scar without moving the hair aside, and you would never know that it exists because his sweet, sweet Springer personality remains intact, even though he has had a difficult time in his life. Winston is indeed a survivor; he is healthy both physically and emotionally. To know what he has gone through, and to witness the dog that he is today, he is truly a miracle-boy. Winston does not have a home of his own, but that is his greatest wish. He gets along well with other dogs, but would do just as well as a single dog. All Winston requires is love and attention (and his ball thrown for him), and in return, he will give you a house and heart filled with Springer love.
