I'm a good lookin' chap, with long legs and a shiny black and white coat that will knock yer socks off. One day, I was out takin' a stroll, when along comes the ‘dog police'. Next thing I know, I'm in the slammer! All these other poor blokes yappin' their heads off, and I'm thinkin', “No problem. My human will be here any minute with the loot to get me out-a-here”. But, NO. After the first night, I'm thinkin', “Okay, its taking him a little while to scrape up the cash”, but after a whole week went by without so much as a phone call, I gave up on him. What I can't understand is, WHY? I've been with him all my life (all three years). I learned all the things he taught me to do like sit, stay, give paw, then the other paw… I just don't get it! BUT….Just when I thought I was goin' to have to live the rest of my life in the ‘slammer', along comes this person from ESRA. They said, “Let's have a look at you”. Apparently, they liked what they saw, because they sprung me and brought me to this new place. After having a nice, warm bath, I met with the Doc, who checked me out, gave me some shots (Ouch!) and said I was the best lookin', most well-mannered dog she had ever seen in her entire life! Well, okay actually she said I looked good and that I could get off the table now. But, I know she really liked me… something in her eyes… I'm sorry… where was I? Oh, yeh. So here I am in this new place, which is very nice, but I'm used to bein' in my own place, ya know? A couch, a TV, a yard, maybe a couple of kids. I miss my humans! Which brings me to my question.
