Until recently, this poor baby got short-changed in the puppy-hood department. Annie spent way too much of her young life cooped up in a crate. Now in foster care with ESRA, Annie is one happy pup - - and as you can imagine, she is making up for lost time! Annie's foster mom describes her as a "gem" - - friendly, good-natured, housetrained, great with kids and other dogs, and OK with cats. She is your average puppy, full of life, with LOADS of energy to burn. Annie is currently living with a toddler, and while her foster mom says Annie clearly loves her daughter and vice-versa, her exuberant play can be overwhelming (and potentially dangerous) for a young child. A pup this age is really best suited for a household with older children, or at minimum, a household with very experienced dog owners who have ample time to supervise her interactions with younger children. Annie was pronounced 100% healthy at the vet. According to her previous owners, Annie was registered with the AKC (papers have not yet been supplied, but may be available if Annie's new owners are interested). Annie is eager to meet that special family who has the time, patience, and good humor required to raise a young pup into a well-mannered adult dog.
