Age: 11 years Gender: Male Color: Liver/White Weight: 65 lbs. Variety: Bench/Show-bred Wow--what a week. I was dumped by my owner at a shelter--they had no more use for me. I had been exploited in my life for breeding--not professional breeders but easy money folks (you see they never neutered me--just used me up and threw me out like trash). ESRA found me, rescued me and now I am looking for a new forever home. I deserve the best--I am a totally cool dog. I love these ESRA folks but they sure are putting me through an identity crises--first they put these blue bows on my ears at the groomers and then they put a pink collar on me! I don't know if I am coming or going. In any event, I am looking for an affectionate home (to match my affectionate personality) and I hope that my new Mom and/or Dad will put a gender appropriate colored collar on me! Hunter Green or blue would be nice. I would even take red but this pink has got to go. In any event, what about me: I am a big dude, need to get some weight off, but I am a gentle soul. I crave affection and can tend to be an affection hog but when the other resident springers in the foster home tell me to back off, I don't get snippy back--I back off and am very courteous. I get along great with other dogs--really great. I am a heavy bonder with my human ESRA friends. I know commands such as sit, stay and I am very obedient. I am proficient with the doggie door and am housetrained. I LOVE to play with chew toys and I LOVE to fetch. This is a good thing because I have to get this weight off like Oprah got her weight off. I am very nice to cats. I am a snuggle bug. I crave human attention and affection. Please adopt me.
