Age: 2 yrs. Gender: Male Color: Liver/White Weight: 50 lbs. Variety: Bench/Show-bred Lance is a wonderful Springer. I tried to figure out what was wrong with this dog, and could come up with nothing. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He loves little kids, big kids, adults, other dogs, and just being with people. Wherever you are, he is in the same room. He has had some training as he Sits, Stays, Comes, Lays down, and Heels. I have been slack on re-inforcing these commands, but he is so smart they will refresh quickly. He has been taught not to counter surf or jump up on you when he greets you. Thunder & lightning don't even concern him. He loves water! He even took a trip to the ocean, and went in on a long lead and loved it. He went camping, and we let him run loose at the camp. A few times we had to call him back, but for the most part he did very well. He does like constant companionship. He will stay in the car for a short period of time, but then you can hear him barking for you to hurry up, as he misses you! Lance has no repercussions from his past. He was found roaming, very underweight, flea infested, and had heartworm disease. Thanks to his wonderful rescuers and vet caretakers, he has come back 100%. He now weighs 52 lbs., has all his hair back, and is completely free of heartworm disease. He also had a blood panel done to make sure there were no problems with his liver or kidneys, and he got an "all clear" on those tests also.
