Album Info:
Age: 6 Years Gender: Spayed Female Color: Liver/White Weight: 44 Variety: Bench/Show-Bred How ‘bout a warm welcome for Destiny! She's been in foster care for two weeks and she's getting quite a makeover. This sweet girl was found wandering by some kind folks who hustled her into foster care. Like many rescue pooches, Destiny has some tooth tartar and skin issues that come along with cheap dog foods and possibly some food allergies. Fortunately, at approximately 6 years old, she's managed to keep her girlie figure, even if she does need a little cardio work out (hey, don't we all). Her happy tail makes a great first impression! She does a super meet –n- greet with dogs and humans alike and has that desire to please and belong, belong, belong. Stay tuned for more on this lovely girl. Since she answers really well to "Sadie" that's what we are calling her UPDATE - Sadie's (formerly Destiny) done just fine in foster care and we're happy to report that she's good-to-go to a loving forever home. She's spayed and is heartworm negative. We're treating her skin for allergy and flea inflammation. In the meantime, she's crating just fine and has learned “sit” and “wait.” She needs a bit more work on house manners and obedience, but she's very food motivated and easy to train. This gal has a really lovely temperament. There's not a grumpy bone in her body. She is fine with cats & other dogs, likes going for car rides and wags her tail all the way to the vet. She loves to swim, lives to be groomed and has nice healthy ears! Sadie does suffer from separation anxiety, so we are looking for a stay-at-home human for her. Moreover, thunderstorms cause panic attacks and we're trying out some homeopathic methods of controlling the elevated level of anxiety during storms (the vet can give her a prescription too if needed). She's fine if she can hang out with her ‘peeps (dog for people), but we need to have a solution for when we're not available. At approx. 7 years old the anxiety probably won't disappear, so her humans will need to come up with some smart solutions to accommodate her. This effort is a small tradeoff for such a wonderful temperament and devoted companion.
