Age: 7 Years Gender: Spayed Female Color: Liver/White Weight: 55 Variety: Field Bred Meet Cilla! Cilla is around 7 years old and a very precious girl. One look at her sweet face says it all! Cilla was a stray - overweight and pretty much hairless from the waist down. The Vet has confirmed that she has an under-active thyroid which explains her weight problem, lethargy and skin issues. Cilla started on her thyroid medication May 4 and will need to take 2 tiny pills every day for the rest of her life. The good news is, the medication is very inexpensive and she should soon start being a bit more energetic - just yesterday she picked up a toy for the first time. Even with her current level of inactivity, Cilla will get up and greet her Foster Mom and Dad with the best "Woo-Woo" we have heard in a while - she sings the same tune at supper time. Cilla is completely housebroken, was an angel at the Vet while having her ears flushed, and has very nice manners. She is great with the other dogs, cats, toddlers at the Vet and everyone else she meets. This little diamond in the rough is going to be fun to watch as her new food and medication bring out the beautiful, wonderful Springer that has been hidden for a while.
