Age: 5 Months Gender: Neutered Male Color: Black/White Weight: Growing Variety: Field-Bred Dillon is a 5 month old pup with a full tail, found as a stray. Dillon is a "happy-go-lucky" kind of fellow! He needs to gain just a a little more weight but has a healthy coat. He already knows "NO". and is working on "STAY". He loves to lick your face and say "Thanks!" Sometimes tries to snip/bite when trying to lick you ... and we are working on this. For this reason he wouldn't be very compatible with small children. He actually sleeps through the night with only 1 "potty break" then back to bed. Dillon loves his "squeaky" Mallard (soft plush toy) duck. It will definitely have to go with him! Dillon has been neutered. Recent Vet visit (8/9/05) indicates excellent health, no heart worms. Started on heart worm prevention meds and is up to date on all shots. His coat is really thick, beautiful and healthy. No shedding so far!Dillon is eager to please and a "happy go lucky" kind of guy. No aggressive behaviors at all. No barking. Crate trained. Working on house training! He loves to play and romp in the grass with his toys and chew sticks. He plays well by himself, especially if his 3 YO Springer brother is too pooped out to play! He loves to lick your face, neck ... well, you get the idea! He loves being with people! And when he is tired, he loves a long nap!He is eating 3-4 times a day,puppy food, and is tolerating it well. At the Vet, this am, he was very compliant when they trimmed his toe nails. Have not had him around children..... but he does NOT jump up on people or things (well, not counting the glider on the patio!) And he does NOT chew on furniture etc. ... he has lots of toys and chew sticks, so maybe that is why!Anyway, he is a great puppy and would make someone a wonderful pet.
