Album Info:
Age: 8-10 yrs. Gender: Neutered Male Color: Black/White Weight: 52 lbs. Variety: Field-Bred Hi! I’m Alex, I am a very handsome (as you can see) black and white older gentleman that really likes to be love and be loved. Now, would you like the good news or the bad news first? Let’s start with the bad; I am blind in one eye, and partially in the other. I am currently under the care of OSU veterinary hospital and will be going through about 2 months of treatment to see if they can do something with my vision. I am also somewhat hard of hearing. The vet seems to think that this could have been caused by severe ear infections over my life. I get drops in my ears as well as eyes 3 times a day, the cost will be about 35 dollars a month and I will require them for the rest of my life. Now! For the good news, I am very sweet; I have never met someone that I didn’t like. I get along with all other dogs, people, kids, and even bunnies. My foster mom has cats and I would chase them if I could see them but they are not in much danger. I follow my foster mom and human foster sister around like glue; if they stop, I lie down and will not move until they move again. I am housebroken, up to date on my shots, neutered, and I am crate trained but my foster mom doesn’t make me use it because I am such a good boy. I am going to be adoptable in a few months if all goes well with the vets, since one of the medications I am on the vets at OSU would like me to keep going there so they can learn more about the medicine and blindness in dogs by watching my progress, everyone has to learn right? Anyway if you would like to know more about me please contact my foster mom Lisa.
