Age: 7 months Gender: Male Color: Liver/White Weight: 22 lbs. Variety: Bench/Show-bred Sweet adorable, Ricky! When this boy came into foster care, he was so scared he just curled up in the back of the crate. But, you should see him now! He's learning that the crate is a great place to get food and treats. The crate is also helping with housetraining. Sometimes he even sleeps in his crate with the door open. This 7-month old has learned a lot since coming into foster care. At first he was afraid to be touched and now he sleeps on your lap. He loves belly rubs and gives the best Springer kisses! The poor thing had never seen a toy! When he first heard it, it scared him, and now he loves to make the toys squeak. As with all Springers, Ricky will need firm, but loving and understanding guidance to become the dog he has the potential to be. He still has some issues with being touched and prefers it if he makes the first move. Once he's used to you though, he loves the attention. He has learned how to use the doggie door, gets along well with 4 other dogs in the home.
