She was taken away from a man by the Monroe County Animal Shelter due to neglect. She is adjusting to her new foster home well but is very timid, and fearful due to her past owners abuse. She has beautiful markings and has a lovely sweet disposition. She gets along well with the other dog in her foster home. She still has her tail and it adds to her overall beauty. She will be spayed before adopted. She also has a condition known as "Cherry Eye" which is a prolapse of the third eyelid. This is easily corrected with surgery which will also be done before she is adopted. Katie's foster Dad is working with her on easy commands like sit, down, and stay and also walking on a leash. She is doing very well with housebreaking. This sweet girl is looking for a new home where she can get all the love, attention and care she deserves!
