Age: Adult Gender: Spayed Female Color: Black/White Weight: 47 lbs Variety: Bench/Show Bred Whisper is a sweet little dumpling girl who was found as a stray in the Florida Panhandle with her friend Echo. The shelter thought that surely their owners would come for them and gave them extra time before contacting ESRA. Whisper loves attention from people, and was was an absolute joy to bathe and groom. She is crate trained,rides well in a car and is happy to meet new people. It seems likely that she was used for breeding, and she is still a tad overweight. Her interest in other dogs is minimal other than to push them out of the way if they are getting attention she feels should be hers- which is ALL of it. Her age is hard to estimate- her teeth suggest she's about 2 years old, but her demeanour and energy level are that of an older dog. Her favorite thing is gazing adoringly at her people, begging for their attention, though she is also fond of her dinner and Greenies or other snacks. Whisper is heartworm negative, spayed and up to date on her shots. She will need someone who will be patient as she completes her housetraining, but she's learning quickly in her foster home.
