Album Info:

Poor Roxy aka Miss Intrepretor. A TB mare who got handed around to everyone and totally misshandled - in the sense she was ridden roughly and never really in shape to handle it. She was very uphill built and about 16.3 - tended to drag her body with her shoulders because of her build which equated to a weak back. When asked to use her hind, she did and was very strong - but needed to be asked, trained and conditioned - things never done for her. But the problem was, she also had a hunters bump injury that had been aggrevated a few times. I rehabbed her and had her 80% ready. A buyer talked me into selling her early beacuse she felt she coudl finish the rehab as I was doing. Unfortunately, the woman got her and then let her run amok in mud and she reinjured herself again. This really made things difficult beacuse I took her back and knew I was pregnant and now had no room in my barn. So, a breeder opted to buy her because the mare was gorgeously built and perfect natural form over jumps - ran a sporthorse breeding program. A test was done to make sure her injury would not affect her if she was bred and thus we sold her to the program with their promise to keep her forever. She foaled a year later - GORGEOUS colt!
