    • There are no scars on this Horse or any horse we own from the front padding. We take very good care of our horse and enjoy riding and showing. It's a darn shame that there are some people out there who do sore their horse and have caused the need for the USDA scar rule. I find it appalling when people sore their horse to increase their gate. I do not find it appalling to have the addition of pads. For those of you that do not understand the scar rule. Review the procedures at http://www.aphis.usda.gov/publications/animal_welfare/content/printable_version/fs_awhpa.pdf.
