Won the 1930 English Derby and was a top race horse in England. He stood in both England and the US, and sired many champions, including Whirlaway, Mahmoud, Jet Pilot, Mirza II, A Gleam, and Mumtaz Begum, dam of super-sire, Nasrullah (who is also buried at Claiborne).
