    • Yes Mary, I can see from this photo of Kegan, that Benjie's Poodle Mum may have been romping with a schnauzer, perhaps! They assured me that there was an Australian Silkie Terrier in the mix, but I think the curly, wavy coat comes from his Mum, the Poodle! Who ever knows fully what the little minxes get up to, mixing genes? Unless, of course, you purchase from a reputable breeder, and not a back-yard, and the owner couldn't be bothered to keep the ticks and fleas off, and not protect the poor little thing from Heartworm etc., It took me months of combing and brushing to try to combat the matting of his coat, and in desperation, I had him clipped. I consider I've added years to Benjie's life, and a new dimention, as well. He is at the moment curled up under my feet at the PC, and Jedda is lying at my right side! I think they have it organized that I won't escape this way! Regards, and thanks for your reply about Benjie's origins! Animal lover, Margaret.Qld.Au.
