guinea fowl. As in the previous post, these are often raised on farms as food.

I raised birds like that one year when I was a little girl. I was told that if I took care of them that I could have what ever money that I could sell them for. One lady bought all of them but wanted us to kill & dress them so she could freez them, so we did. I was so proud of myself. Of course my grandmother helped me kill & dress them. She actually did the killing but I helped her do the rest.
