u should be ok.rottes are hard work if not traned.nobody should get one for first dog.and thay dont like stragers wicth can be good and bad.thay are good with ur own children but iwould not chance it with some one elses kid. and thay are very strong ive allways had english bull.but now i have rottes and i have two be care full when letting people in my house.lots of people are scared of them and i got lots of ##### when i got him of the wife and friends becasuse at the time all that stuff was in the paper.but at the end of the day its one of the best dogs ive had.all so when u get a dog allways see the mum and if pos the dad.
