...how Sophie, in her inimitably adorable & singularly incomprehensible way, had fallen asleep on the very edge of this box. I'm not sure if you can really tell by the angle (and this pic is the most accurate of the lot I took that day, alas), but she was practically falling off the box, which was located right next to the old laundry basket that had been her previous (and much more patently comfortable) place to nap. I love that crazy kid of mine.
