The run's are decked with 2"x6"x12' planks and then sealed for easy cleaning as well as preventing the pup's from being exposed to the treatments in the pressure treated wood. Total cost to do both sides of the building with the wood was $967.00 compared to $1,500.00 if we had gone with concrete. The wood gives a bit where as the concrete is solid. This should be a bit better on the feet and joints.
