This dog was a stray, and I was sure she was doomed, as almost all chows or mixes are overlooked. But she was adopted! I was at the shelter when she was picked up. The new owner said that she had been a stray in their neighborhood, not taken care of by an apparent owner. They had decided, when she was picked up, to adopt her and give her a home! Cool!
