IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT ADOPTIONS: shelter takes ONLY cash or check for adoption fees--NO credit cards. Adoptions can only be completed IN PERSON--no adoptions can be handled by phone except by contacting RAOT at (901) 432-7268. Dogs are not 'held' for anyone--adoptions are 'first come, first served', period. For EVERY adopted dog or cat--no spay/neuter surgery is performed until the adoption has been completed (paid for). Then the dog/cat is scheduled for surgery.
