Angela was right in saying that Derby was "one of a kind." As long as we "remember" she still plays and runs in our hearts. Derby is also in every pet you will have. So continue to enjoy how God blesses your life in Simcha your Joy.

I had a Yorkie-Poo for about ten years. It may seem like a long time, but it was not nearly enough. Her name was Coco. She was never very healthy, but was still extremely affectionate and playful. She was born on June 7th, 1992. She was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in July of 2002. On September 1st, 2002, she lost her battle with congestive heart failure. I see my dog when I see the pictures of Derby. Only difference was by of white by her mouth, there was brown and she was more grayish than black as she got older. She also had the "look" and loved to jump by the windows. She tilted her head back and forth when talked to and was very loyal/faithful. Whenever someone would become sick, she would never leave their side.

We got our beloved Yorkie- poo in Dec. 92,we became members of a very privilaged group of folks, happily we still have him in our lives and he is very precious to us. We feel so lucky to have found him, so cute and cuddly and loving, although now nearly eleven years old he is still very active, he does have a slight heart murmer but it is not a worry yet, may god help us when we do eventually lose him, It is not something we care to dwell on, we love him so very much.We only ever called him Yorkie as his name, his mother was a peach coloured poodle so he is a beautiful blonde colour with the yorkie grey showing through.Thank you for your pics. of Derby, she was really great too.

You have a very nice photo scrapbook of your beloved Yorkie Poo. Just two months ago, our female poodle, Pokie and male Yorkie, Tinky-Winky were the proud parents of two beautiful little Yorkie poos, which were named La La and Dipsy. When I saw your pictures it was surprising to see that little La La has the same face markings as your Derby; a little white ring around the nose and mouth and some on the chest. Dipsy looks mostly like Tinky, with Yorkshire brown features. If you know of anyone who loves Yorkie Poos, we are looking for a very special home for La La. It must be a loving home that will treat our baby like one of the children. We are not looking to sell her, though someone might have to travel to pick her up. I can provide digital pictures for an interested party. FriendOMyn@aol.com is my email.

Hi, I got my Yorkie-Poo when I worked at a shelter in the spring of 2002. He was supposed to be the first dog I euthanized. I just couldn't do it, so home he came, he was only a year old and his owners ditched him because they were 'moving'. He's had quite a life, from after nearly being killed by a coyote to agility classes. Each one is truly, one of a kind...I'm delighted to share my life with one of these special little critters. I already have a Border Collie named Tiny, so I aptly named the new little guy Peewee... This was right after I brought him home and cut all the matts off of him. You can see him here: http://www.geocities.com/my2bcs/peeweemug.jpg I'm looking forward to many years of fun with him, and bless you for sharing your life with him.

Your little furbaby was adorable. We just lost our 10 year old yorkie poo to cancer and we are heartbroken. Fortunately, we have her little yorkie-poo-poo son. They are a very special type of dog.

I had a question, I just recently adopted Isabella, who is also a yorkie poo, she is the love of my life, I was wondering, how much did derby end up weighing?
