Hi Karen; What a fun album. It really helps when one has friends and family who have cats that we can photograph. This is a fabulous collection of kitties. Miss Lily looks very much like my Snowball. Hi Karen - thanks for the additions to your album. I can't believe, as I never did before, how much like Muffin, Pixie looks and Muffin also LOVED water - think some of those were put into my album!! Hi Kat - your additions are wonderful, as was the repeats of the older shots. It seems Pixie and my Muffin have something in common (wonder if there is something about black and white cats being attracted to water...!?) I haven't as yet made my decision on what to get to take away the agony of Banshee's death but am getting closer and most wonderfully, so is my portrait from my mum - got as far as deciding on best head to fit the only full bodied shot I have of him (as my mum said, with him having been so small, just a head/shoulder portrait would have to be very small or just look rather sillly). I really can't wait for her completed work of art as I know how difficult it is going to be - emotionally and the fact that the markings and hair colouring is so very difficult to get exactly right. Thanks for your comments on my Uniquely Australian Fauna album featured on November 22nd. I’ve been away from home, and this is my first opportunity to respond. I'm glad you liked the lorikeet photos, they are wonderful birds, and live right here in my suburb where they fly around in a flock. Hi Kat... Thanks for dropping a note in my guest book. I live in upstate NY, about 50 miles north of NYC. Our stray cat had 3 kittens in April of 2005 and one of them looked a lot like Pansy. I read your profile, and it interested me, as I just celebrated my 13th year as a member of Al-Anon! We seem to have a lot in common. I love Lily. I noticed in the picture of Lily with Casper and a pumpkin, in the background, I have the same exact picture of the little Amish girl holding the white cat hanging in my family room. Hi Kat and what a gorgeous album this is! You are very lucky in that you are never short of subjects for your camera! You probably loved Em's feature album yesterday too! Sorry it's taken me a while to reply but we have only just got back from a short holiday in the outback and there is a mountain of catching up to do as you can imagine. Hi Karen, Lily looks like a small version of my Sabastian. Such a beautiful face. Sabastian is a domestic long hair with extra toes on his front paws. I think that's called, Hemmingway Polydactel. He's my heaviest kitty. We call him hoover because when another cat walks away from their dish, he comes in and cleans it right up. Your kitties look small compaired to my brutes. My only small kitty is Sweetpea. Thanks for taking the time to view their albums. Vicky
