Hello Eric! I started viewing this album a few months ago, before I left for Europe and in the midst of viewing a heavy thunderstorm hit, and our electricity went out for 1/2 day. After that I never got a chance to re-visit and wanted to make up for it today. I am so amazed that you are familiar with most of the names. The variety of waterfowl in this collection and the quality of the shots is simply stunning! Well done, my friend! And thanks also for your hearty welcome back - the hardest part about being gone so long is there is so much to catch up on now - and then of course there is the thousands of photos to sort out and edit. I never even got a chance to make 1 album from last years trip, I wowed that won't be the case this year. Without hurricanes and family problems it should be a bit easier this time I hope! Cheers and have a great day! Marita

Hello Eric. Great, great captures. Your collection is very impressive. Thank you so much for stopping by my featured album. I appreciated you taking the time to let me know you called. It's always an honour appearing on the homepage but it's the firends who call that make the day even more special. Thanks again. Have a good week. Warm wishes, Jayne

We are in full admiration: fantastic album! How many thousands of miles made your car, how many dozens of miles yourself to compose this collection...?! - Thanks so much for your congratulations and nice words on our featured “Spring again…” album! This feature made our day; it was such a nice surprise! Best wishes, Henri and Kaethi

Wow, Eric! This album is a treasure house of waterfowls. If I ever get stuck for a name of a waterbird, I know now where to turn. Nothing exasperates me more than to photograph something beautiful, be it flora or fauna, and not be able to identify it. Your pictures are brilliant in every sense of the word: colourful, comprehensive and so well photographed. The Mandarin duck in full screen is Nature's way of mixing striking colours. To say I enjoyed this album would be a gross understatement. Best wishes, Suresh

A great work of love and passion, dear Eric! I had a great time switching between the desktop (where I watched the images full size) and your page (to write my hunble comments)! I always wonder at your great knowledge concerning everything pertaining to nature!!! You have a name for every specimen! I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend with your family and that you are all in good health! Best wishes to you all, Gabriela

Eric, I admire your knowledge of all these different waterfowl. Very interesting and informative album of lovely photos. Took quite a while to compile all this I would imagine. Very nicely done. Carol

Hi Eric: "& not wild": your pictures are so well framed that everybody would believe them coming from very different places somewhere far away and hidden in the nature! But of course such an inventary would have taken a hundred times more time and miles! - Thank you very much for this extensive presentation and the high picture quality! Had we (more) opportunities to meet of these adorable waterbirds, we would copy your album with enlarged pictures and their legend - it's so more sympathetic when we meet "somebody" and know his name... - Best wishes: Kaethi and Henri

Hello, Eric, It is an honour for me to be the first to thank you for sharing this splendid album on waterfowl. Your ornithological knowledge has combined with your artist's eye to create a delightful collection of close-up views of these beautiful birds! I hope that you are enjoying a fine spring weekend -- All the best, Rebecca
