Dear Eric, Wow I am so jeolous of your chance to see these magnificent birds You have some excellent pictures here and I realy enjoyed looking through the whole album. Thanks so much for your visit to my latest album I have been getting out with my camera a bit but mostly its been trying to get the house straight Next week they start on the kitchen which I'm really excited about Its my brother who has done all the plans for me as he's done that for many years while they are doing that I'm planning on the hall stairs etc only 10 panelled doors to keep me out of mischief LOL. You have done self builds? That sounds like a lot of hard work but very rewarding I should imagine. Hope you are keeping well and getting out and about often. Take care now, Jill

Wow, Eric, this is some pretty amazing "footage" you've shot here of this gorgeous creature hunting it's prey!!!I really thought that owls are night-hunting only! So you must have been really lucky! We have a red-owl in the woods here, it is at least 3ft tall (or so it seems) I love owls. Also got a surprise visit at the bird house today of a small falcon - swooped down and grabbed a piggeon eating the seeds - I ran outside (I thought he grabbed one of "my" squirrels, but I saw the feathers, when he saw me he took off, pigeon in talon! Nice and clear shots of the predator, I must say, Eric, I don't have any luck capturing birds in flight! Now thanks also for visiting my spring celebration album. You're in quite some trouble though, dear British Friend, you didn't pick a flower I can dedicate to you! You don't get off that easily, LOL, you've known me long enough to know I am quite a kraut not to be messed with, LOL! Please do pick a flower! Thank you! And happy Easter again. Marita

Hi Eric, These are my favourite owls and it is one of my photographic ambitions to photograph them in the wild. I am VERY jealous of you. Very elaborate album about barn owls dear Eric. I thought they were scary but you've captured them very nicely. I like the ones with open wings,they have nice pattern on the wings.

Hi Eric. I thought owls were nocturnal and hunted by night. Seems I'm wrong. If ever we need to show our children in reception, owl photos, I'll know where to come. You got some pretty amazing shots of them. I'm counting down the days now to my trip to Italy this Easter. Two weeks today I'll be in Venice. Can't wait. I'm so fed up with our miserable cold weather. Maybe it's better where you are. Have a good week. Jayne

I liked your takes of the barn owl! Much smaller in size when compared to the Hokkaido owls. But I love them, especially the baby owls!They look so awefully cute! Hope you got my note!Best regards, Gabriela
