  • (continued): ...have sweared that the snow storm just waited for your presence on the field! But maybe that this particular weather condition made your actors less shy! - Thank you for these exceptional shots!

  • Hello, Eric. I enjoyed viewing the new shots you have posted to this album. You have got me longing to do some serious birding, which I haven't done for awhile. My bird shots have been mostly of the hummingbirds in my backyard. The migratory birds should be arriving in my area soon. Went out last week, but didn't see any yet. Regina

  • The darnest thing just happened - as I was viewing this beautiful slide show a bird hit my window...so I rushed outside, he was out cold, spread all over the terrace..and crapped all over too...I thought he was dead and broke his neck..so I took some ice water and dumped it on his little head..and he actually came to. Phew...I made a little bed for him in a box of easter basket moss and some food and a little water...and set him under a bush outside...he is beautiful never seen one like this...help me pray he's o.k. this is already the 2nd time this week I saved one..the last one was a gorgeous bluejay...the migratory birds are all over now and they are just full of it...chasing eachother and playing around...Sorry Eric for digressing...I just get so upset when animals get hurt...my heart is pumping a million miles a minute...It takes so much patience to photograph the little feathered friends, especially in the wild, without a birdhouse around...wonderful job! Have a beautiful day, Marita. P.s Mike was just in London last week and froze his butt off, he must have had bad luck with the weather, from the looks of your photos it is pretty nice..

  • Hi Eric, Thanks for the comment in my bird album, I have been having big problems with my broadband connection, it turned out in the end that it was my anti virus and fire wall that was causing the problem and its the reason that I have not got back to you sooner. We were heading for the coast at Anglesey last Sunday but never got there. The fog came down when we were near Chester, so we did a right turn in to the City, and finished up staying there for the day. The fog lifted as quick as it had come down and the day turned into a brilliant sunny day, seeing we had never been there before we stayed for a look around. I must meet up with you in the near future of a costal bird session. For now best wishes and regards Paul.

  • Hi Eric: of course we loved your present album! And are impressed by the variety of birds you could encounter (and who waited that your camera was ready...). The "Follow me" procession is really excellent! But also the House Martin with his beautiful nest, and the babies! - Thank you for your kind words for our Challenge entries! - Best wishes: Kaethi and Henri
