I really enjoyed your album of Pugs. We have had several over the years, but now we just have 3 grandpugs to enjoy. Fortunately, we instilled a great love for them into our 2 youngest children who grew up to have some of their own. Say hello to Abby, Charlie, and Mack from Petunia, Maggie, and Leggo.

I actually make the beaded chokers myself after searching many stores and not being able to find what I was looking for. I sell them through people that contact me by e-mail and also donate them to charities for fundraising. Thanks for the comments!

What a wonderful beautiful puggies. I am owned by a solid black pug named Punkin who is my heart. She is so wonderful. Your pugs are georgous. They're addictive, aren't they?

bytesngrin: Amazing dogs with such great loving personalities. You can't go wrong with a pug although there are a few things to consider. 1) They shed A LOT. My husband and I no longer wear black clothes and luckily our couch, area rugs etc are all pug coloured! We use a tool called the furminator and that does cut down on the shedding with regular use and monthly baths. 2) Pugs can have serious health issues so buy from a good breeder (or apply at a rescue) and consider pet insurance. We've been lucky with our three but got insurance on all of them just in case. Our big guy Charlie started having seizures in March of 2007. Initial vet bills including MRI was in the thousands. We got 80% of that back. It's nice peace of mind that we'll never have to make health decisions based on finances. 3) Want a dog that's independant and not always on your lap or at your feet? Don't get a pug. Personally I love that about them but it's not for everyone. They crave attention, can be very playful but also love just relaxing and lounging around. You have to be careful with them in hot weather because they are a brachy breed (short pushed in noses make overheating happen faster etc). They are great with kids, other animals. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions....I wouldn't trade our guys for anything, they are the best friends I've ever had.
