My dearest Rosa. I was shocked to see that you lost little Nina. My mind is a bit fuddled, because I've just had the Vet confirm that my little Benjie has had removed, a very nasty Mast Cell Tumour Grade 2, with a 25% chance of more malignant tumours. I'm actually not sure whether you had already told me about Nina or not. Grief and shock does things to the mind, and I haven't even lost little Benjie yet - we may have months, or years left - who knows. But, as with you, the mind will go back to the days when you loved and were loved - cuddles and slurps and all. A lot of people will not have another pet to love, because it hurts so much to lose your loved one, but you and I, I feel, welcome that love the little ones give, and gladly offer it to another little one who needs our care. I have Jedda, and Mark and Rachel will not let me replace Benjie when he is gone - this hurts - but Jedda won't miss out. She's a magic dog, totally committed to me (as cattle dogs always are, to one person), and whilst Benjie is still with us, we'll go on lots of short walks, and have that loving companionship only our pets can provide. You can be sure, my dear, that I share in your sorrow - you aren't alone. I look forward to talking to you again when you feel up to it. hugs. Margaret.

Hello Rosa. Little Nina is quite adorable! Bet she was a handful when little - she already had a spark of mischief in those beautiful eyes. Your lovely pictures, (well caught) bring back warm memories of the two puppies I raised from their early weeks. Flash and Sheba lived good long happy lives with me, and I still think of them with emotion! Benjie and Jedda keep me busy and happy (and warm and cuddly!) now, and at 70 yoa, are probably the last dogs I will have the privilege to live with. Dear Rosa, I was looking forward to seeing more pictures of you little bundle of joy or is that trouble LOL She is adorable and I'm sure she will grow into a lovely dog with yoru care. Thanks so much for stopping by my butterfy album I knew you would enjoy that one. You told me to take it easy and relax the day before my operation and thats exactly what I did by taking pictures of the Adonis blue butterfly which I think is one of those you said that you downloaded :o) I'm doing OK for the most part just need to get the replacement medication at the right dose which I don't think its is quite yet.
